The CoCentric principle

One goal.
Everything around it.

Most software asks you to pick a tool and then remember which goal you picked it for. This turns that around: the goal is the object, and everything a team needs sits on it. Six ways, always the same six - what changes from goal to goal is only what is in them.

One of six · Content

Everything you make

A plan, a board, a film, a sheet of numbers. Work that exists because somebody made it - and that is worth nothing the moment nobody can find it again.

Every document is written on the goal it belongs to. Nobody hunts a drive, nobody asks which version is the real one, and the film you made about the plan sits next to the plan.

The immersive room

Three walls. Nine screens. One goal.

The immersive room puts the work on the wall: three walls, each with three portrait LED screens of 95 inches. The plan, the numbers, the board and the people, all up at once - and you walk between them.

Everyone who takes part

Colleagues, the people you serve, the ones outside who help. A tool that does not know them makes you introduce everybody to it, one system at a time.

The people are on the goal, not in an address book. A call happens where the work is and leaves its recording behind; a question is asked once and answered where the next person will look.

Three of six · Coordination

Everything that has to happen

The step nobody owns, the appointment that took eight emails, the hours nobody wrote down. Coordination is where good work quietly dies.

The plan, the week and the hours are the same object as the work. A step has an owner and a date; a meeting is booked in real availability; the time spent lands against the goal that spent it.

Practise before it happens

The same goal, with the headset on.

An interactive video, a 360 room or a 3D scene, authored on the Unity side and played in the browser or in VR. A difficult conversation, a machine, an operating room: rehearsed until it is familiar, then discussed on the same goal it belongs to - with the score and the recording on the timeline.

Four of six · Competence

Everything the team must know

The thing one person figured out on Tuesday. Today it lives in their head, and the next person will spend the same afternoon finding it out again.

What was learned becomes material on the goal: a five-minute module on a phone, a recorded lesson, an interactive video or a 360 room you can practise in. Scenarios are authored on the Unity side and play in a browser - so a risky situation can be rehearsed before it is met. And what one institution builds can be shared with the next through a catalogue of its own.

Five of six · Communication

Everything that leaves the building

The letter, the post, the page, the invitation. Written in one tool, about work that lives in another, sent to a list that is a third copy of the same people.

What goes out is written where the work is and sent to the people the platform already knows. A campaign, a mailing and a landing page all point back at the goal that produced them - and the response comes back to the same place.

Communication

One platform, four ways in

The same goal on every screen you have.

One set of people, goals and data - shown on whatever is in front of you. Nothing is exported, synchronised or rebuilt for the next device.

Six of six · CrewMates

Assistants that know your work

A general assistant knows the world and nothing about you. It can write anything except the one letter your organisation actually sends - and it only ever has one opinion.

A goal gets as many CrewMates as it needs, each with its own role and its own view of the same goal: one guards the house style, one reads the numbers, one keeps the sources. Each with its own instructions, its own documents and a model you choose - in the cloud or on your own hardware.

One thread

The same goal, all the way through

A hospital decides its letters have to be readable. Watch where that lives - it never leaves the goal.

  1. The plan is written on the goal, and the board the team drew is next to it.
  2. Six departments join - one person each - and the patient panel comes with them.
  3. The work is planned: draft, review, panel, approve, publish, each step with an owner.
  4. A letter arrives in the inbox that sits beside the goals, and is dragged onto this one.
  5. The team is taught in five minutes on a phone, from a module on the same goal.
  6. They practise it in a 360 room with the headset on, before the first real conversation.
  7. The new letters go out to the people the platform already knows.
  8. The numbers come back to the goal that caused them. Nothing had to be filed or exported.

Every tool here is on the same goal.

That is the whole idea. No integration project, no hand-over, no second copy of your people - and nothing to reconcile at the end of the quarter.
